The app opens offline; queries naturally require a network path to your MongoDB cluster. AI features require a path to your provider.
Encrypted at rest on your device only - the Android Keystore on Android, the iOS Keychain on iOS. It is never displayed in plaintext after saving.
Android subscriptions are managed through Google Play; iOS subscriptions through the App Store. Both are handled with RevenueCat. AI provider costs are billed separately by your chosen provider.

No. AI features produce drafts only. Stages that write data ($out, $merge) or fan out heavily (unindexed $lookup) raise warnings, and nothing executes until you explicitly press Run. Raw full documents are not sent to AI by default.
